This article talks about the different elements of branding that should be mixed for your brand to stand out!

Name

Name is the first cue for viewers to understand or remember your brand. Hence, it is an important part of branding. Names can be determined based on the identity the brand needs to showcase.

  • Name should be easy to remember and catchy. It should be also associated with the brand so as to not cause confusion.

Logo:

  • Logo is the visual trademark of your brand. It is an element that can used as an advantage while advertising. Logos help
  • Example: Nike does not need to place its brand name on every product only the tick is enough.

Tagline

  • Taglines are used to identify the brand position as well as making the brand more memorable.
  • Making your tagline, something that can the viewers can relate or remember is all that is needed. Famous taglines also help the brand become more recognizable.

Graphics

  • We have been talking about making your brand memorable, but graphics is what helps to catch the viewer’s attention to understand the brand.
  • Certain parts of the brand identity can be modified to make it more distinct. These are the parts in which graphics come in handy to give a better theme.

Shapes

  • This is pretty self explanatory. Shape of the product can be altered to make it unique to the buyers.
  • It helps cement brand identity and helps the consumer identify your brand from others.
  • Various brands use distinct shapes to identify its products.

Colors

  • Recently we had written an article about the effect of color on moods. Moods can be affected by different colors. Different colors signify different moods.
  • Brands can use this to their advantage to use these colors to create a personal identity for itself.

Sounds

  • Sounds and colors are something that can be very memorable. They can be used to give your brand a well-defined sound, something listeners can identify with.
  • For example, viewers can identify the channel based on its first two notes.

Scents

  • Smells also add a noticeable identity.
  • Certain scents are trademarked by brands to keep their identity from being plagiarized.
  • Certain brands have copyrights of specific scents!

Tastes

  • Like smell is an important identity for brands related to creating scents, taste is a vital factor for brands related to food industry.
  • Like smells, taste are trademarked too!

Movements

  • Movement is about noticeable change that can occur in a brand. It can change the shape, move in a certain way, condense and so on.
  • For example Lamborghini has doors in a specific motion.Lamborghini has trademarked the upward motion of its car doors.

Conclusion
