The rise of social media has been meteoric. It has helped companies find their target audience and also reaching them. So what’s the disadvantage? Like any other media, this too has a lot of competition with a variety of products and designing. Thus, studios need to stay one step ahead in this game. This article will talk about managing your social media presence for graphic designers.

Target Audience: Target audience are basically the future clients. Since the currency of social media is attention, grabbing their attention is quite vital. Companies must work smart in using their designs to enthrall the viewer.

Selecting the platform: After knowing your target audience, you need to search their preferred platform in order to reach them. Studios must choose the best possible platform to reach their audience while also having strong presence on other media.

The Content: Finding your platform is just the first step. Finding the type of content that works for the particular platform is quite important. For designers, the design is the content but tweaking it to match with the platform will give an edge.

Content sizes for different media: When you have the content for different medias, you should also specify the size to work for the particular media.

Media Specific Branding: Different medias have different agendas and functions. You can’t just look for jobs on instagram or upload pictures on LinkedIn. It does not make sense. Branding your work according to the media or platform is common sense.

Useful Content: The audience shouldn’t just glance at your content. They should be memorable as well as helpful for them. This helps them understand your brand as well as spread it to others.

Variety of Designs: Having a variety of work will motivate your target to find their choice as well as help them understand your type of work. But also stay wary of the analysis paralysis.

Themed Content and Templates: Having a themed content works well for different media as it gives an idea about the type of work you undertake and the creativity of your studio.

Design Based on Analytics: The boring technical part but it helps the companies understand the consumer. Not only can you see how many clicks you get, you can also see what works and what doesn’t.

Conclusion: Social media is quite important for companies that need to expand their presence in order to reach a wider audience. And the sooner they focus on it the sooner they will find the right audience. Thank you and stay tuned for other articles from UP studio!
